Internal Motor: The most common and straightforward option to install. The motor is built into the liner inside the hood, and air is vented outside through ductwork located either at the back or the top of the hood.

Remote Blower: The remote blower is installed separately from the hood, commonly located in the attic, basement, or exterior of the building. This configuration is much quieter than internal motor; however, it requires a more complex installation process, as well as additional space and careful planning.

Ductless Conversion: Ductless ventilation operates without external ductwork by using specialized filters to capture grease, smoke, and odors. The purified air is then recirculated back into the kitchen. To maintain optimal filtration efficiency, these filters require regular cleaning or timely replacement.

Your copper range hood is a meticulously handcrafted piece, designed for long-lasting beauty and performance. To preserve its finish and performance, please follow these care instructions:

Routine Cleaning:

1. Clean the surface with mild dish soap mixed with warm water.
2. Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth, and always wipe gently to avoid scratching the surface.
3. Dry immediately with a soft, clean cloth to prevent water spots or moisture buildup beneath the lacquer.

Avoid Harsh Substances:

1. Do not use acidic or abrasive cleaners (e.g., vinegar, lemon juice, ammonia, or metal polish), as they can damage or remove the protective lacquer coating.
2. Avoid scouring pads, steel wool, or any rough cleaning tools.

Cleaning the Filters:

1. Baffle or mesh filters should be removed and cleaned every 3–4 weeks, depending on cooking frequency.
2. Soak the filters in warm, soapy water or place them in the dishwasher if dishwasher-safe.
3. Make sure filters are completely dry before reinstalling.

Fan & Internal Cleaning:

1. The internal fan and motor do not require frequent cleaning, but should be checked every 6–12 months for dust or grease buildup.
2. If cleaning is needed, consult a professional or refer to your user manual for safe disassembly.

Additional Tips:

Check all screws and mounting hardware periodically to ensure the hood is securely installed.
