At CKH, we take pride in crafting high-quality, custom range hoods and providing outstanding customer service. Below are our policies for returns, refunds, and warranties, tailored to our custom products and aligned with industry best practices.
1. Return Eligibility
Each range hood is handcrafted, and minor variations in finish, texture, or patina (especially for copper hoods) are normal and not considered defects. Therefore, we do not accept returns or refunds for the following reasons:
- Customer Preference: Returns are not accepted for changes of mind, incorrect size or style selections, or other non-quality-related issues.
- Non-Defective Products: If the product is free from material, craftsmanship,or structural defects, it is not eligible for return.
- Installed or Improperly Used Products: Products that have been installed or damaged due to misuse or improper care are ineligible for return.
- Late Requests: All return or refund requests must be made within 48 hours of delivery. Requests beyond this window will not be accepted.
2. Returns & Refunds for Quality Issues
Returns or refunds may be considered only for confirmed quality-related issues, such as:
- Manufacturing defects (e.g., poor craftsmanship or flawed materials)
- Structural problems affecting performance or integrity
- Finish defects (e.g., peeling or uneven coating) not caused by wear, improper maintenance, or environment
To request a return/refund for quality reasons:
Email info@customkitchenhood.com within 3 business days of delivery and include:
- Your full order details (name, address, order number)
- Clear photos or videos showing the issue
- A brief description of the problem
Our support team will review and confirm if the issue qualifies for return or refund.
3. Return Process & Conditions
If your return is approved:
- Restocking Fee:A 30% restocking fee applies to all returned items to cover custom production costs.
- Return Shipping:Customers are responsible for return shipping charges.
- Condition Requirements:
- Product must be unused and uninstalled
- Returned in original packaging (crate,foam, etc.)
- Includes all original components and documentation
- Must be in resalable condition (no damage, alterations,or wear)
Important: Unauthorized returns will be rejected. Any additional costs incurred (e.g., shipping to an incorrect address) will be deducted from the final refund.
4. Refund Timeline
Once your return is received and inspected:
- We’ll confirm the eligible refund amount (minus the 30% restocking fee and shipping).
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 7-10 business days after approval.
