CAD Drawings Before Production: Review and approve the dimensions and design details before manufacturing begins.

Factory-Direct Production: Each hood is handcrafted to order, with support available throughout the process.

Ventilation Options

CKH zinc range hoods can be made for different ventilation setups, depending on your kitchen layout and ductwork.

Internal Blower: Installed inside the hood and connected to ductwork that vents air outdoors.

Remote Blower: Installed separately from the hood to help reduce motor noise in the kitchen.

Ductless System: Recirculates filtered air when outdoor venting isn't available. Availability depends on hood size and insert compatibility.

Hood Cover Only: Already have a ventilation insert? Send us the brand, model number, and specifications so we can build the hood cover to fit.

Every CKH zinc range hood is handcrafted to your approved specifications. Production begins after the final CAD drawing has been reviewed and approved.

Estimated Production Time: 28–35 days after final drawing approval.

Estimated Standard Shipping Time: 35–40 days after production is completed.

Estimated Total Lead Time: Approximately 63–75 days after final drawing approval.

Zinc Range Hood Care

Zinc finishes can vary in color and texture. Gentle cleaning helps preserve the original surface.

Cleaning the Zinc Surface

• Use a soft cloth with warm water and mild dish soap.
• Dry the surface after cleaning to prevent water spots.
• Avoid vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, ammonia, and abrasive cleaners.
• Do not use steel wool, scouring pads, or metal polish.

Dark & Aged Finishes

For dark, aged, or textured zinc finishes, avoid scrubbing or polishing the surface. If your hood has a protective coating, use only cleaning methods suitable for that finish.

Brass Accents

If your hood includes brass straps or trim, wipe these areas with a soft, damp cloth and dry them afterward. Avoid abrasive brass cleaners on coated or aged finishes.

Filters & Ventilation

Clean the grease filters regularly according to your ventilation insert's instructions. Check whether the filters are dishwasher-safe before washing them in the dishwasher.
